We offer a range of functionality to enhance what PowerPoint can already do. This could be a simple button, on the ribbon, to change between different versions of a logo, through to a whole system for managing and auditing creation of corporate presentations.
Unlike Word, PowerPoint lacks the ability to produce a Table of Contents (TOC) for the slide content. Our solution to this is a button on the ribbon that will create an 'on-brand' TOC in either a list or a tabular format, picking up the 'section divider' slides as the TOC entries.
Where a logo is sitting over an image that a user can change, you may get contrast issues e.g. a black logo will disappear on a night-time scene. Our switching tool allows users to step through the available corporate logos to find the one that is most suitable. Or switch the logo off, if none work.
This feature can also be used to step through different sub-brands your company might have.
The end result is a logo properly placed and sized. Something that won’t happen if users are expected to manually update the logo.
Corporations often have lots of possible slide content and this can lead to an unwieldy ‘deck’ or even multiple ‘decks’. Users may struggle to quickly put together a presentation that contains just the information they need and, worse, may contain out-of-date information because that’s what they found first.
Prescribe is a tool that allows users to easily cherry-pick the slides they need from the ‘master deck’.
Slides are named, assigned to categories and groups, making it simple to navigate to the required slides.
Slide content is ‘searchable’ on keywords and slides can be set to ‘expire’ to ensure the most up-to-date information is always used.
An additional feature of Prescribe is the ability to audit existing presentations to see if any slides have ‘expired’ or been updated since the presentation was created. It can also check if slide content that should have been ‘static’ has been edited. Any slides that fail the audit can be updated with the master copy.
Adding a bespoke Ribbon tab to PowerPoint creates a central place for users to go for all things ‘presentation’.
Your corporate presentations are available directly from the Ribbon so users don’t have to hunt around, or worse, try to re-work an existing presentation.
Any bespoke functionality is made available by the Ribbon.
PowerPoint lends itself well to producing interactive games. These games can be used as a fun way to impart knowledge to the reader and testing their understanding. Much more interesting than reading a boring old document as they are more likely to retain what they have learnt!
These sorts of games can also be used at sales conferences and exhibitions as they lend themselves to creating an entertaining ‘on-brand’ experience.
